Beaufort Castle

Beaufort is on a plateau in the Mullerthal region and is well known for its almost perfectly dimensioned castle of the 12th century, as well as for a neo-Gothic church.Although much of Beaufort Castle (Buerg Beaufort) is in ruin, it is still wonderful to explore.There are a series of paths that lead through the wooded hills to wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, by spectacular rocky formations and the Hallerbach and Saeracht keys to Grundhof and Dillingen in the Sûre Valley.https://beaufortCastles.com
