In La Montaña Park (near Plaza de España), visitors can discover an ancient Egyptian temple.A gift from Egypt, satisfied for the help of Spain in saving the temples Abu Simbel during the construction of the Aswan dam, the Debod temple was brought to Madrid in 1968. N The temple was built for King Adikhalaman in the second century BC.and was dedicated to the Egyptian god and goddess, Amon and Isis.The original well -preserved original decorations are found inside the temple, which is rare for an archaeological site.
