The Saint-Nicolas Russe Orthodox Cathedral

Built in 1912 by Tsar Nicholas, the Russian Orthodoxy Saint-Nicolas is considered one of the most beautiful Orthodox churches outside Russia.Inspired by the Moscow style, the cathedral has a richly decorated decor, with many ornamental icons, murals and wood, carved, as well as a relief metal iconostas.A virtual jewelry box, the interior contains historical and religious objects that were brought here from Russia during its turbulence.The cathedral is still used as a place of worship.Visitors are admitted, but they must follow certain rules: men will not be admitted to the chest or shorts.For women, no mini skirts and shorts are allowed, shoulders should be covered and head cover is preferred.The guided trips of the cathedral are available daily (in English, French or Japanese).
