Although the Kos archaeological museum is small, it houses a strong collection of sculptures dating from the Hellenistic period to the late Roman and Venetian period.Located in Eleftherias plate, the neoclassical building was built in 1935. Among its more notable treasures are beautiful mosaics, statues and ceramics on the Asklepion site and a statue of the Hippocrates.Anyone who is interested in archeology, art or history of the island would be without occasion to see the unique artifacts of the museum.
