Castillo de Los Tres Reyes del Morro, also known as El Morro, is proudly at the entrance to the Gulf of Havana in Parque Historico Military. It was designed by the Italian engineer, Giovanni Battista Antonelli and looks almost the same as in the seventeenth century. It was rebuilt several times and then finally replaced in the middle of the 19th century with a new lighthouse made of solid stone.Today, its original lamp still shines, and the fort is open to tourists. You can enjoy beautiful views on the ocean and the city of Havana at the top.
