Chapel of San Juan de Dios

Finding the road through the narrow and twisted streets of the old city to Capilla de San Juan de Dios on Calle Caridad is half the fun of a visit here.This Mudéjar chapel (in Christian Moor's style) was part of a hospital built by the Spanish monarchs in the sixteenth century.This is a small and somewhat modest church, but the iconography inside is impressive and exciting.
