Kata beach

Standing with casuarines and palm trees, Kata Beach is a wonderful, curved bay, embraced by the lush hills, at every end.Although it is still tourist, it is quieter than the beach in Patong, with less drivers.A small island is only offshore, and the beach itself is wide, with soft sand, white and decent snorkeling points at each end.If you are hungry, you can take a papaya shake or a snack at one of the stalls at the seaside, and the bigger restaurants are a few steps.At the southern end of the beach is The Boathouse Phuket, a luxury boutique hotel, which is one of the only resorts that are adjacent to the sand.If you want a quieter slice of shorelines, go south to adjacent Kata New Beach.
