Discover History Eau at the Dubai Museum
The excellent museum in Dubai is hosted in the Al-Fahidi fort, built in 1787 to defend Dubai Creek.The forts of the forts are made of traditional blocks of corals and kept with lime.The upper floor is supported by wooden pillars, and the ceiling is built from palm leaves, mud and plaster.Restored in 1971 (and again broadly in 1995), it is now the first museum of the city.
