Maison Eureka is a well -preserved French colonial mansion located in the center of the island, near Moka.Once held by the largest baron of sugar on the islands, this house is an incredible engineering masterpiece.A completely wrapped balcony, 109 doors and windows on the roof are just the beginning.You can make a beautiful trip from the garden full of bamboo and ebony and follow until you reach a wonderful swimming pit.Make sure you stop and admire the Moka mountain range views and stop for tea in the tea.

This wonderful reserve recreates the Eden discovered by the first explorer of the island.At the end of the seventeenth century, François Legat wrote that, walking on turtle shell, he could take 100 steps around Rodrigues without ever stepping on Earth.There are over 100,000 indigenous trees and due to a reproductive program, hundreds of turtles that wander the reservation.You can also explore the nearby caves, while a local guide shares stories about Mauritius's geological history.Remember to move to the museum to find out the history of settlements, as well as the story of the solitaire, the missing cousin of Dodo.
