Belvedere Palace
The Belvedere Palace was the summer residence of Prince Eugen, a 17th-century war hero.It is a splendid palace, in Baroque style, with large French gardens, arranged with water pools, fountains, sculptures, steps and small waterfalls.The theme of the whole ensemble is the journey of man in the dark to the divine light.Belvedere hosts the National Gallery of Austria, where you can see the famous paintings of the Austrian plastic artists, including the work "Kiss" by Gustav Klimt, belonging to the Art Nouveau movement.There are several types of entrance tickets, so you will pay 7 euros for the contemporary art museum, 9 euros for winter residence, 26 euros for the two wings of the palace, orange and winter residence, the ticket for Klimt's exhibition is 20 euros, and an entrance ticket to all the objectives of the palace costs 31 euros.
