Visit a religious sanctuary at Monte Toro

Image 2 of 25

Over the centuries, the highest peak on the island has hosted a waking tower, a monastery and, if it is believed in legends, a bull!Today you can still see the remnants of the Gothic church, but the huge views of the island are the main event. In the Monte Toro breaking remains an important place of pilgrimage, and the current sanctuary is the residence of a community of Franciscan nuns.
