At Euskal Museoa Bilbao (Basque Museum in Bilbao), also called Museo Vasco in Spanish, visitors can discover the culture and unique history of the Basce region.Hosted in a beautiful baroque building in the heart of Casco Viejo (old city), the museum has three different departments that document the basic way of life: archeology, ethnography and history.One of the most appreciated objects of the collection is Mikeldi's mysterious idol.The ethnography department presents Basque crafts and folk art.One of the rooms has an interesting embossed model that depicts the provinces of Basce.
