Revolution Museum

Image 9 of 13

Hosted in a former presidential palace, Museo from Revolución (Revolution Museum) is worth seeing even from the outside. The old presidential palace was designed by the Belgian architect Paul Belau and was built at the beginning of the twentieth century in a sumptuous version of neoclassical architecture. It is worth noting the wax figures in the natural size of Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos. In the back of the museum there is an interesting exhibition of the Granma yacht. This boat was the one who brought Fidel Castro and his gang to Cuba from Mexico. Also, an airplane is exposed during the bad invasion of the Bay of Pigs.1
