Venezuelan capital, Caracas is located in the north country near the Caribbean Sea.

The city is located about 900 m above sea level in a long valley that narrows from east to west. On one side of the valley slopes of emerald are uninhabited, the Avila National Park, on the other hand, the rugged hills and barely furnished the southern suburbs. Slopes of the park dominates the city like a huge green wave.
