Santa Cristina Nuraghe and the Holy Fountain

Not far from the north of Oristano is one of the most atmospheric and various archaeological attractions in Sardinia, where you can see a remarkably preserved "holy" - a temple from 1200-1100 BC.And a tower of Nuraghe where you can climb the wild flowers open roof for sight at the prehistoric stone village that surrounded it.Take a flashlight so you can see the interior while climbing the Nuraghe roof.If you want another layer of history, stop between the fountain and the nuraghe to see the group of small houses of stone pilgrims, former monks who surround a church from the 12th century.The pilgrimages come here still in May and October.
