Starting with the 9th century BC, Bosa has overlooked the mouth of the only waterway in Sardinia, in a valley that is today green with farms.A mess of medi streets snakes from the old stone bridge and pastel buildings that turn on the river bank to Malaspina Castle, on the top of the hill.The restored mansion of the Deriu house is open as a museum with furnished rooms and an art gallery.Inside the castle is a 13th-century chapel, where you should see the unusual fresco cycle of the fourteenth century.
